Sorry to hear that your listening enjoyment is impaired. I have slight hearing loss at this point–rock’n'roll, routers and jackhammers. I’ve been lucky in that regard. As a photographer, eyesight is very important and mine has been going downhill for years. I use autofocus Nikons with diopters built into the eyepieces but I still can’t see the photos on that little screen well enough to determine if the focal point is where it should be, so I get, a bit, of what you’re feeling.
