Way back when the Kingsman first released this song, there were a lot of stations that wouldn’t play it. It was thought that the lyrics were obscene and subversive – mostly because nobody could understand the lyrics. Urban legend has it that the FBI bought a copy and literally analyzed it backwards and forwards, finally deciding that they couldn’t understand the lyrics, either. Louie Louie by the Kingsmen.
Oh, and happy Friday the 13th as well!

My Zaprudian “frame by frame” analysis indicates that the singer must have incredible “pipes” to be audible above the din of the instruments and that the second dancer from the left WAS Jedgar Hoover in drag–the Director was, according to some reports, an accomplished female impersonator.
