Long ago (1971) there was an album called Tapestry. It was by Carole King. It was rated #1 for fifteen weeks, the longest any woman has held the #1 spot since there’s been one and remained on the charts for six years. It won four Grammys. Almost every song on it became a hit, if not for her, for someone else that recorded it. Rolling Stone has it as number 36 in the 500 greatest albums of all time. It is one of very few albums that has been re-released as a tribute album, with all the original songs performed by other artists. Tapestry holds this distinction twice. This is Where You Lead. That’s Carole’s daughter Sherry singing backup. It was filmed in 2002.
